Inside the Home
How Things Work
- WiFi Network: Terrace Street Retreat / Password: BoyneCity329. If trouble connecting, restart your device first.
- Thermostat In the living room near the TV. Old-school dial. The home runs warm. Large window AC unit handles the main floor in summer. Fans in every bedroom. Open windows in the evening. Boyne City nights cool off.
- Keurig Next to the sink. Fill the water reservoir, power on, let it warm before using.
- Percolator For a full pot: fill water to just below the filter basket, add 8 to 12 tablespoons of grounds, lid on, plug in. Ready when it stops percolating.
- TV Roku, guest mode. Log into your streaming accounts. Please log out before checkout.
- Washer / Dryer Hallway closet. Tide Pods and dryer sheets in the same closet. Smaller capacity, don't overload.
- Trash Kitchen trash can (wave hand to open). Extra bags in the cupboard under the coffee maker. Pickup: Wednesdays. Roll the bin to the end of the driveway in the morning.
- Sunporch Door Pull closed firmly, then lift the handle until it clicks. Electric baseboard heat available, turn off when leaving.
- Entrance Doors Both doors sometimes need a firm push or pull to close. Lock the front storm door when leaving. Give the side storm door an extra push to confirm the latch.
- Grill Next to the patio. Pre-heat on high 5 minutes, brush clean. After cooking: high for 3 to 5 minutes, then close the propane valve.
- Bonfire Firewood and newspaper provided. S'more sticks near the garage for s'mores and hot dogs only, not fire pokers. Keep it manageable and ensure it's fully out before going in.
- Parking Private driveway, 2 to 4 vehicles. Street parking on Terrace Street (daytime only, not in winter).
- Circuit Breaker Master bedroom hallway.
- First Aid Master bathroom, under the sink.
- Extra Towels Master hallway closet.
- Extra Linens & Pillows Master bedroom closet.
- Bluetooth Speaker In the kitchen. Return before checkout.
- Charging Cables Extra cables in a kitchen drawer. Return before checkout.
